Scope
The objective of this workshop is to provide a forum for researchers and technologists to present new ideas and contributions in the form of technical papers, panel discussions and tutorials of ideas in the field of Internet of Vehicle. It is intended to bring together various Internet of Vehicle developers to discuss the current status, technical challenges, standards, fundamental issues, and future services and applications in the form of technical sessions and tutorials.
Topics include, but are not limited to the following research topics:
- Spatial distribution of vehicle nodes on the ground formed by vehicle driving
- Theory and technology of wireless transmission between vehicles
- Vehicle LAN protocols
- Vehicle WAN architecture and protocols

Jin Tian
Jinling Institute of Technology
Jin TIAN is a Doctor/ Professor/ Senior Engineer, and visiting scholar of CSIRO. He received a Doctor’s degree in the National Mobile Communication Laboratory, Southeast University, and received a Master’s degree in the Advanced Photonics Center, Southeast University. Master’s tutor of communication discipline in HoHai University, Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications and Anhui University of Science and Technology, and also an senior expert of the ministry of education in the evaluation of dissertations for Master’s degree. From July 2011 to April 2014, he served as the dean of the School of Information Technology, Jinling Institute of Technology, and from May 2014 to now, he has served as the dean of the engineering School of Networks and Telecommunications, Jinling Institute of Technology. He works as an international standard expert of Inter System Telecommunication, a member of National Standardization Technical Committee of Intelligent Transportation System, a trustee of China Intelligent Transportation Industry Alliance, a trustee of Jiangsu Communication Society, a trustee of Jiangsu Optical Society, a trustee of Internet of things branch of China Communication Industry Association, and supervisor of Nanjing Multimedia Information Technology Society. He is an authorized expert at the National Natural Science Foundation of China (Youth Fund, general programs), and of Science and Technology Program of Jiangsu Province, Chongqing Province, Guangdong Province and Shandong Province. He published a monograph on “collaborative communication and network”, published more than 60 natural science papers, and authorized 3 invention patents. Recent research fields: access technology and route technology on Internet of Vehicle.
Publication
All registered papers will be submitted for publishing by Springer and made available through SpringerLink Digital Library.
Proceedings will be submitted for inclusion in leading indexing services, such as Web of Science, Compendex, Scopus, DBLP, EU Digital Library, Google Scholar, IO-Port, MathSciNet, Inspec, and Zentralblatt MATH.
Authors of selected best accepted and presented papers will be invited to submit an extended version to:
- Mobile Networks and Applications (MONET) Journal [IF: 3.077 (2021)]
All accepted authors are eligible to submit an extended version in a fast track of:
- EAI Endorsed Transactions on Scalable Information Systems (Open Access)
- EAI Endorsed Transactions on Internet of Things (Open Access)

Paper submission
Papers should be submitted through EAI ‘Confy+‘ system, and have to comply with the Springer format (see Author’s kit section).
- Regular papers should be up to 12-17 pages in length.
- Short papers should be 6-11 pages in length.
